1. Introduction

Welcome to Frontrow (“Frontrow”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Hexa product operated by eFounders SA. Frontrow is an invitation-only platform used to share fundraising opportunities from Hexa-backed startups with qualified investors.

By accessing and using Frontrow, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Purpose of this Policy

This Privacy Policy informs you of the type of personal data we collect when you use Frontrow, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights and choices. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not access or use Frontrow.

3. Personal Data we collect

“Personal Data” means any data that enables a person to be identified directly or indirectly. When you interact with Frontrow, we collect the following categories of data.

Account data. Your email address, name, profile photo, firm, investor type (VC, family office, angel, other), location, nationality, phone number, and LinkedIn profile when you complete onboarding.
Invitation data. If you request access to Frontrow, we collect your email, the information you submit on the request form, and the referral source if any.
Preference data. Your stated investment preferences: stage, ticket size, geographies, themes, and whether you lead or follow rounds.
Activity data.Which projects you view, when you open a founder’s contact details, when you click a scheduling link, and similar usage events. We use this data to improve matching and surface relevant opportunities.
Technical data. IP address, browser type and settings, date and time of access, and log data that your browser sends automatically when you visit Frontrow.
Cookies. Small text files placed on your device. See section 9 below.

4. How we use Personal Data

We collect Personal Data for the following purposes.

To operate the platform: authenticate you, provision access, display fundraising opportunities, and let you contact founders (legal basis: performance of contract).
To surface opportunities that match your stated preferences (legal basis: performance of contract and our legitimate interests).
To notify you about new fundraising rounds from Hexa-backed startups that match your interests, when you opt in (legal basis: your consent).
To understand how investors interact with Frontrow and keep the platform secure (legal basis: our legitimate interests).
To respond to your questions or requests (legal basis: your consent).
If you ask us to delete your data or be removed from our lists, we will keep the minimal data required to identify you and prevent further unwanted processing (legal basis: our legitimate interests).

“Legitimate interests” means our interest in running and delivering Frontrow.

5. European Union individuals

Scope. This section applies if you are an individual in the EU (including the European Economic Area countries of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and, to the extent applicable, Switzerland).

Data Controller. eFounders SA is the data controller for processing your Personal Data. Our establishment in the EU is in France (EF Paris SASU). See section 11 for contact details.

Your rights. Subject to EU data protection law, you have the following rights in relation to your Personal Data.

Right of access. If you ask us, we will confirm whether we are processing your Personal Data and, if so, provide you with a copy along with certain other details. If you require additional copies, we may charge a reasonable fee.
Right to rectification. If your Personal Data is inaccurate or incomplete, you are entitled to ask that we correct or complete it. If we shared your Personal Data with others, we will tell them about the correction where possible.
Right to erasure. You may ask us to delete your Personal Data, for instance when you withdraw your consent.
Right to restrict processing. You may ask us to restrict or block processing in certain circumstances, such as where you contest the accuracy of the data or object to our processing it. We will tell you before we lift any restriction.
Right to data portability. You may obtain the Personal Data you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and reuse it elsewhere.
Right to object. You may ask us at any time to stop processing your Personal Data. We will do so if we rely on a legitimate interest (unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing), or if we process your Personal Data for direct marketing. You can always object using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Right to withdraw consent. If you consented to a specific use, you may change your mind at any time. This does not affect processing that already took place.
Right to complain. You can report a concern about our privacy practices to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

6. Disclosure of Personal Data

Personnel and service providers. Only our personnel, service providers and trusted third-party applications have access to your Personal Data. These include hosting, backup, email delivery, and analytics providers. We only share the information they need to provide their service.

Founders.When you copy a founder’s email address from a project page, or click a scheduling link, the founder may see that you did. We share aggregate metrics with Hexa-backed founders about which investors engaged with their round.

7. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your Frontrow account is active. If you close your account, we retain your data for up to three (3) years from the last activity, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Data collected through cookies is retained for up to twelve (12) months.

8. Data security

We take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your Personal Data, in particular to prevent it from being altered or damaged and to prevent unauthorized access.

9. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit Frontrow. They are used to authenticate your session, remember your preferences, and measure how the platform is used.

Essential cookies. Required to keep you signed in and to deliver the platform. You cannot refuse these.

Analytics cookies. Help us understand how Frontrow is used so we can improve it. You can refuse these through your browser settings.

Most browsers let you block or erase cookies. If you block all cookies, Frontrow may not function as intended.

10. Modifications

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes take effect when the updated policy is published. If a change involves matters for which your consent was previously required, we will ask for it again.
